OASIS Bus Shelter
OASIS (Orientation Adaptive Street Infrastructure Shelter) is a modular bus shelter for all solar exposures along streets.
The OASIS shelter is composed of a series of shaded “chair” modules that can be deployed in multiple configurations to adapt to multiple street orientations so that occupants can find shade in the heat of a desert city. Each module has a thin tube steel structure that supports a shaded corner composed of a custom-designed fiberglass screen designed to optimize view while providing maximum shade. The perforated ceiling of each module supports a roof equiped with a solar panel, battery, and lighting.
